What Is Pico Second Laser?

It is an advanced laser technology that creates a photomechanical effect with picosecond-scale pulse durations, micro-fragments pigment particles, and minimizes thermal damage in the surrounding tissue.

Indications

• Pigmented lesions: Sun/age spots, freckles
• Melasma and PIH (with selected protocols)
• Tattoo removal (choice of wavelength in multi-color/multi-layer tattoos)

• Wavelength and fluence are adjusted according to the target pigment color and depth
• Balance of efficacy/safety with spot size and number of passes

Application And Protocol

• Sessions: 2–6 sessions; varies depending on type of lesion/tattoo
• Interval: 3–8 weeks; longer in tattoo treatments

• Short-term erythema/edema; crusting may occur in tattoo treatments
