Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) consists of microspheres in a gel and can provide support alongside a collagen response.

Product selection depends on facial anatomy and medical history, and these procedures do not achieve the same result as a surgical facelift.

Effects vary, and swelling, nodules, infection or serious injury from vascular occlusion can occur.
